gods after five part 3: trinity - a poem

gods after five part 3: trinity - a poem

You showed me the god in you

You shared that god with me

Blind before us

Chemistry opened my eyes to see

A new world

One so Fresh

Vivid and spectacular

Never could I imagine

Fathom life after us

But you showed me the god in you

You made me a God

You see

My power was dormant

And your loves

An almighty key

You gave me the sight

Unbeknownst how I'd use it

And before I could repent

I was stealing offerings from your altar

And placing them at her feet

I found wholeness in her

And in you, security

My soul was yours to mold

Things my flesh could never be

Everything she needed was awakened

By your divinity

While forsaken the creator is obviously a sin to me

Something deep inside still yearns for her energy

To bask in our trespasses, unholy in our trinity

The Sun, The Earth, the MOON that orbits

She has a pull on me that you vehemently forbid

But still the earth settled, the sun rested

Though the moon blinded me

When night turns to day

And you're woken to a kiss

The moon fades away

And our Trinity’s eclipsed
