The Thursday HIT (Honored In Time): Flaws and All

The Thursday HIT (Honored In Time): Flaws and All

This is by far my favorite joint from Beyoncé, no question. I remember one of the homies sisters being in love with Bey so much that it was all she'd play. We use to, as the kids say these days, "troll" her about her obsession with Bey and that album...and then I caught myself like "YO....what song is this?".

Flaws and All is the perfect song for women who recognize their flaws, may not always own up to them in the moment, but absolutely appreciate the men in their life who accept them regardless. She talks about how moody she can be, and how that doesn't affect how her man views her. Man or woman, everyone can appreciate that even if they can't directly relate to it; they want it.

"I don't know why you love me; that's why I love you." is the line that made me fall in love with this song. That line stood out because it's the moment you start to realize that your significant other recognizes something greater in you than even you could see; or fathom. That's amazing.

To Bey, I say thank you. Enjoy.
