Save Us Paul George

Save Us Paul George

Written 2/1/17

I'm going to see the Pacers take on the Magic in what will surely be an ugly game. But there is beauty in ugliness everywhere and that beauty happens to be Paul George's game. Now, let's not get it twisted, PG has looked disinterested all season. It’s like when Jordan was chained up hooping for the Monstars on Moron Mountain, he's playing and still really good but it just doesn't look enjoyable. With that being said...

He really enjoys doing things like dunking on people. Especially when that person's name was formerly Clint Capela. Clint Capela no longer exists. Clint was, by all accounts, a really nice guy with a promising career ahead. But the thing about Paul George? He does not care about your promising career. This raises a valid question: why was PG so upset at Capela?

·      Invited his mother out to a nice steak dinner and never called her back.

·      Capela maybe elbowed or had some things to say to PG earlier.

·      Maybe PG was just bored and needed someone to dunk on to find some joy again.

All three are viable candidates. If I were a betting man, #3 would be the most likely scenario. I hope PG remembers he plays in the state of Indiana and how there's really nothing there and decides to kill another hopeless Magic defender out of boredom and anger that he is indeed stuck in Indiana. Cause without that, I am sure this game will be ugly. Help me basketball gods.

Y'all be cool.

P.S. Stay tuned for my review of this game.
