Video: Elderts Lane - Freestyle Dance Choreography | Malak Lunsford

The video starts off in a subway station in New York City on a nice looking day.  Out comes a guy who seems to go about his day like any normal citizen would. As he’s about to approach the second flight of stairs, he begins to bust out some unique dance moves that I haven’t seen in quite a while.

What I love most about this video is that it’s all one shot, showcasing some of New York making it look very appealing to want to go and take a trip to experience it for yourself. It being one shot is also impressive because it has to be done in one take (for all of the filmmakers out there you know the struggle that comes with that). Both the person behind the camera and the dancer are very talented in what they do and I wouldn’t be mad at more videos like this coming from them. The score for this was an excellent choice because it fits the style of dancing that’s being done.

All in all, it’s a good video that gives me an early 2000’s commercial feeling, especially with the way it ended.  Looking forward to seeing more videos with this style coming from this duo. Once again, you should check this out for yourself to actually see what I’m talking about. Enjoy…
