Just My Thoughts Vol. 2 by @Mariannoo
There’s no such thing as a waste of time; that doesn't exist. What you have are things that didn't meet your expectations or get done as quick as you would've liked, but there was no time wasted. Why? How? Because you learned something....hopefully. In every situation, be it minor or major, there's a lesson to be learned. It's up to you whether or not you'll sip from the half full glass to quench your mind's thirst or look at it as half wasted and figure why bother.
Every relationship has its purpose, intimate, business, or casual, they happen for a reason. Just because they don't last forever doesn't mean they should be deemed a failure. Think about how many mistakes you made with that person and how you learned about yourself while growing from them, or traits you saw in that person which made you navigate different moving forward. Without those moments you wouldn't have acquired certain gems that can only come from firsthand experience.
Think about someone you met ONLY because your last situation didn't work out and you ended up at the right place at the right time as a direct result of ending it. That's no accident.
Sometimes when you're going through something, you don't even realize you're being tested until life says "pencils down" and you look up and see the passing grade materialize.
I say that to say this, learn from each and every situation in life and never doubt what's written for you. The people who believe in "wasted time" are the ones who don't use that moment to learn. Time is too precious to ever consider that it could be wasted.
No such thing.
